This is my new desktop background. It's a work in progress, we will have some fun...But I need broad day light to continue. I'll explain later!

Am I getting crazy or scanners with depth of field don't exist anymore? I bought 2 and they were both blured in the depth. I can't scan my sketchbook anymore. This could be the death of my "carnet magique" I'm afraid. I'm SO pissed of. So if you know a good scanner able to scan sketchbooks, please, please, please, leave a comment!

I'm a geek. I took a look on other blogs, and all the cool girls were displaying their desktops and they all had a bunch of icons displayed everywhere and so. Ok, here is my TRUE desktop, and the background matches the icons. I have only 3 icons on my desktop. I'm sorry.
I don't show you the dock with all the softwares classified by frequency and 3 versions of Photoshop neatly organised. My house is a mess but my desktop is clean and neat. I'm a geek, I'm a freak, boooohooo. Am I the only one?

Je suis une sale geek. J'ai fait le tour des blogs, je m'effraie. Je suis la seule a avoir seulement 3 icones sur le bureau, assorties au fond d'ecran ( fait expres pour reposer l'oeil) ou quoi? Et encore je suis en progres, parceque d'habitude je fais mes fond d'ecran avec les memes lumieres que dans la piece ou je suis. Au point d'avoir desespere un de mes patrons une fois, qui a eteint une lampe (orange) dont il pensait qu'elle me genait et le faux reflet est reste allume sur mon ecran. La honte ( ca et le faux post-it : "penser a nourrir les rennes a 18h"). Heureusement la dessus il y a pire que moi.

Et encore, je ne vous montre pas la barre des programmes, avec ses 3 versions de Photoshop par ordre chronologique et les autres programmes par frequence d'utilisation. Limite je me fais peur.

Alors que mon bureau, pour de vrai, est un chantier soigneusement organise. Rassurez moi, je ne suis pas la seule hein? Dites?

Guys, I'm looking for a new scanner. I need something not too expensive but with a good depth of field. And then I need a very good printer, not too expensive, able to print on thick fine art paper.
Most reviews on the internet don't care much about my criteria. I'm not interested in printing on photo paper and scanning films, unlucky me...

Advice anyone? I work on a Mac.

Les filles (zet les gars) je voudrais remplacer mon scan et mon imprimante houla qu'est-ce qui m'a pris. Je viens de renvoyer un " tout en un" ...Le scan n'avait pas de profondeur de champ, mes carnets en flou dans la reliure ca ne le fait pas. Et quant aux imprimantes, pas moyen de savoir si l'une ou l'autre imprime sur papier epais. Ces criteres la ne font pas partie des pubs et des reviews, flute.

J'ai ecrit chez un fabricant a propos de cette histoire de profondeur de champ, on m'a repondu que le couvercle pouvait s'enlever. Oui ca parait pas clair, mais c'est normal : ca n'est pas la reponse a la question que j'ai posee...On dirait que les scans sont faits pour archiver du film et les imprimantes pour le papier photo, c'est tout.

Si vous avez des idees? Vous avez quoi comme scan et comme imprimante? Vous en etes contents?

Today like every day at 4pm, I went to my favourite coffee shop for a large mocha, with my baby in his sling. It's the best part of the day, Bibu Minouche is sleeping snoring cutely and I do need my coffee after a very long day.

I came back home and put the coffee on the chest of drawers nearby the changing table. I went to change the baby, all smile and fun cooing and gurgling and singing with him. I turned my head one second while I extended my hand to reach the nappies on the chest of drawers, one hand on my baby... To my surprise Bibu managed to pee in a  neat stream up to the ceiling, down into my coffee.

It happens each time I think that really you don't need warm baby wipes, no problem, this wipe warmer was such an unnecessary expense, haha. Cold wipes make babies pee, you've got to know that. Well you don't really need to know it, but I do. I didn't know if I should laugh or cry. But my little boy was looking at me in such a cute way , like " Did I do something wrong or what?" and smiling and cooing, so I choose to laugh, cuddle on my bed with the baby and play with him . Tummy time on maman's belly, so much fun!! Yey!

Fun to the point he actually vomited all his milk on me, my hair and the comforter. 

I knew this time what I had to do : I had a good laugh and a shower, put the comforter in a bag, the baby in his sling and went to the laundry. Lucky me, the owner recognized me, and told me my husband paid too much last time he came and actually gave me money instead of making me pay.

So I went to the cafe to spend this extra change, told my story with a big smile to the barista so he can have a good laugh too, and lucky me once again, he said "It's on me!". How nice of him, really.

I went back home in a very cheerful mood, thinking how much I like to live in a city with such nice and honest people.

I was also thinking that  if I had gone to their shops grumbling with a grimace on my face, maybe they would not have been that nice.

Really, sometimes, life is better if you just take it easy.

I wish I was able to react like that every time.

My first Mother's day!

Ici ce n'est pas le meme jour qu'en France. J'ai hate d'etre a l'age des colliers de nouilles, en attendant j'ai ete tres gatee par mon mari :)

I'm afraid this text is kind of difficult to translate. It's about the sweets I used to eat when I was a little girl 33 years ago. I really was a perfectionnist when I was a little girl. And there is also a sauerkraut of marquise with a caravelle on top.
Smarties, in Europe, look like M&Ms. The boxes were bigger than the volume of sweets, why, but why?
