This post to answer a comment about the Soccer! post. Trollette found out that mixing the 2 characters would make a nice goal's costume (for a soccer girl's team ). So I did it. And it reminded me something, but I couldn't remember what. It was a very old memory. Holly Hobbie! Sweetie I'm sorry I forgot about you, I loved you soooo much when I was a little girl. I have to apologize for leaving behind  such a sweet memory.

I'm afraid this is very difficult to translate. Title "soccer-boy has (un)interesting conversations"
then, the little rabbit girl is trying not to listen to all his soccer-technical junk "oh please stop talking like that"...He stops, she asks " are you finished?" and he says " sigh, you can't understand"

It's all about the French guys frenzy about soccer. I'm not really into it, for you have to support your national team and that's it, with a lot of technical babbling, unless you are considered un-patriotic and weird. Not my cup of tea.

Tres franchement le trip patriotique foot c'est pas trop mon truc. Il fait beau dehors, non?

Par exemple moi j'aime bien le rugby, je supporte les equipes de France, du Japon, d'Ecosse et j'aime bien les Australiens aussi qui ont un jeu de gentlemen, c'est beau.

Juste je ne comprends pas que l'on ne ne comprenne pas que je ne cherche pas a comprendre. Compris?

Et plein de bisous aux gars qui suivent ca comme un jeu et pas comme une guerre. Genre Mo', Prezd et Gibus, Sam et plein de gens en fait...Tout n'est pas perdu!

I know I should have drawn cats. But birds it was, and that's how I saw it that night!

As I said yesterday, we went to bimbo's for a beautiful show. It's amazing how the sound is better here than the one I was used to in France, plus usually people are nicer...well usually.
Last Sunday, there was these people just behind us. As they explained to me later, they were here only for the third part of the show, and didn't want to hear the begining. So they were talking and of course they were yelling louder than the music. I was desperatly trying to listen for the first song of a very delicate and talented singer : Juana molina.  She is amazing really.

I asked politely: " hey guys I'm sure you have a very interesting conversation and I'm sorry to disturb you, but can you let us listen to the music?". And the guy yelled at me:

Hem. We are in America, so of course the guy politely apologized after. But still, they continued speaking and yelling during the show, and when the guy introduced himself and apologized, I said " it's OK Jo, I will put this on my blog tomorrow and it will be great fun !!"

Jo laughed because he thought I was kidding.

Heehee, I was not ! :P

Je ne dis pas ca pour celles qui me demandent l'autorisation de s'inspirer de mes dessins, et dont je sais qu'en plus elles me citeront si elles les montrent (donc Clo et Lil, des bisous, ce n'est pas pour vous). Mais bon. Histoire de pouvoir dormir cette nuit...Et d'avoir envie de continuer a poster mes images....

Je rappelle que mes images sont sous copyright, et leurs designs aussi. En tirer des produits derives sans mon autorisation est illegal.

Bon je dis ca, c'est juste que j'ai eu une furieuse envie d'arreter ce blog. Je ne le ferais pas, parceque le but c'est de partager mes images , et si je les laisse dans la boite ca me fait le meme effet que d'enfermer des papillons...Alors je les lache...
Mais c'est pas une raison pour les attraper!

Cherry time... I like sweet June. This illustration has little comments on it from my husband who couldn't help laughing while looking at it. I guess it's a cute one, if it  makes giggle a 42 years old rugby player.

An antique shop in Noe Valley. I loved the light today. When I arrived here in SF I realised that my photos were more lively. I thought I improved as a photographer, but no: the light is better here.

Dans le doute, poste une photo...Quand je suis arrivee ici j'ai trouve que mes images etaient nettement meilleures, j'ai cru que oui enfin apres des annnes de travail j'avais fait des progres en photo, MAIS:
en fait la lumiere est plus facile qu'a Paris...Hihi.
