Printable Miniature Book Covers

For miniaturists who find their peace in making series, there’s nothing like the sense of flow we get when making miniature books.

We’re making different objects, but in a repetitive way, and in the end, as we gather them in tiny libraries and on shelves, they become whole. It’s very soothing.

You can find countless mini book printables online. But when I started making books in 2018, it wasn’t very common. And on top of it, I didn’t feel like scraping covers from the internet. I wanted books that would be fully mine, no copyright problems, no stolen images.

So these little book covers are very special. Fonts? I bought them. Illustrations? I drew them. Patterns? I designed them. Colours? Yes, mine too. The result is a cohesive little group of books that looks as charming on shelves as displayed on tiny desks. I took my original 2018 file and modernised it a little for our use in 2026.

I placed the pictures in tidy little columns to make cutting and glueing easier.

Just print, cut out, and glue. Or do just as I do: cut a full column, mark the folds with a sharp object, glue it around a balsa strip as you would a long book cover, and cut out the books. Less perfect, but way faster.

Since all the covers are in the same style and created by the same artist (me!), the look is very cohesive. It’s less messy in a small roombox, like in an illustration.

So, here’s my lovely printable: use it for your roomboxes, miniature libraries, and doll’s houses. You can print it, but you can’t redistribute it or sell it. Contact me if you want to resell it. I don’t take too kindly to people who resell my art without authorisation.

For this scene, I made books with opening pages. I stacked thin sheets of paper neatly, held them with clipboard clips on 3 sides, brushed a thick layer of PVA glue on the side, and let it dry thoroughly. Then I glued the covers on that side and cut out the excess.

These covers are 1:6; print at 50% for 1:12. I scaled down to 1:24, but the details get blurry.
