A modern pattern

The beginning of August was a blissful time, with the visit of a friend from SF, another from Paris, and a third from French Brittany. We all know each other through blogs and art groups on Facebook, so it was at the same time unexpected and magical.

I had the pleasure to visit a LACMA exhibit, Kimono for a Modern Age, with one of them, and it was truly inspiring.

Visiting a fabulous exhibit with a good friend is one of my favorite things to do in the world . I find it very inspiring. I took some quick snapshots ( no catalog. Shame) and back home began to design some patterns of my own. Thank you Rachel for a truly inspiring moment ^^

This pattern is for personal use only, no commercial uses, thanks.

I am truly passionate about kimono patterns and modern Japanese fabrics: I even made a special inspiration board on Pinterest, look and follow!
