The French Poppy is red and called "Coquelicot" as a reference to the triumphant song of the rooster. Since it grows mostly near the wheatfields, it's a very strong symbol...And light too. I love it's color and I miss it dearly, even if I fell in love with the Californian delicate orange poppy too...

Dix ans presque exactement! Malheureusement lors de mon dernier demenagement en France, 7 ans de carnets ont disparus dans les cartons, envoles...C'est une des raisons de ce carnet virtuel, comme ca quoiqu'il arrive il restera des archives numeriques :)
