Cherry time... I like sweet June. This illustration has little comments on it from my husband who couldn't help laughing while looking at it. I guess it's a cute one, if it makes giggle a 42 years old rugby player.
An antique shop in Noe Valley. I loved the light today. When I arrived here in SF I realised that my photos were more lively. I thought I improved as a photographer, but no: the light is better here.

I forgot a rule : try them in the shop long enough to see if they hurt or not.

About Sonia Delaunay...I remember fifteen years ago ordering from Paris a book about her work. The book was an American transaltion of a French author, but I was never able to find a rench version or even an English one in France. She was the first female author to have a retrospective exhibition at the Louvre. She is only known because she married Robert Delaunay.
This one is an hommage to the vibrant colors of Sonia Delaunay. I know it doesn't look like a Sonia Delaunay, but that's why the word inspiration was invented for. It's not a copy, but I learnt from her. She was such a wonderful artist. She made the best colors ever.

Voila pour celui la je me suis inspiree de Sonia Delaunay...pour les couleurs et la structure. Ou pour la joie de vivre ...Ca ne ressemble pas a un Sonia Delaunay, mais je vous promets que l'inspiration vient de la : s'inspirer n'est pas copier, c'est apprendre de l'autre. La difference est treeees importante. Ceci dit il n'y a pas d'art sans inspiration, ca n'existe pas ( ou alors ca s'appelle un cliche). Pour moi un cliche c'est quand on croit faire du neuf et en fait non, on fait pareil que tout le monde.
Un bon exemple d'inspiration c'est quand Van Gogh s'inspire d'Hokusai, la classe. Par contre quand le photographe de Britney imite le realisateur de clip de Madonna qui imite Cukor filmant Marylin, la ca devient un cliche...
Vous pouvez imprimer ce motif pour un usage non commercial ...Et si vous voulez l'utiliser pour autre chose ecrivez moi merciiii.
